Drivers

The SBH Group has over 500 drivers.  It has implemented strict compliance policies to assure the drivers’ qualifications, driving safety as well as the service quality:

• Drivers shall be aged 25 or above, pass the driving test and medical exam before employment;
• Drivers shall not be recruited if they Driving-Offence Points deducted more than 5 points in the past 2 years;
• All new drivers have to attend the routes familiarization and bus/road trainings;
• A driver’s handbook which governs the driver’s disciplines, provides guidance and procedures for handling incidents/accidents;
• Appraisal and Penalty Schemes in relation to the driving safety and service quality are in place to monitor the performances of the drivers;
• Periodical Check-Ride would be conducted by supervisors to access the driving behavior and performance of drivers;
